ProChem Analytical, Inc., a full service environmental testing laboratory located in Southwestern Virginia’s New River Valley, has an immediate opening for a Laboratory Analyst to run an Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS). ProChem Analytical, Inc. is dedicated to providing analytical services to the engineering community and is in the process of expanding our testing portfolio to new biologically relevant testing markets and to product testing markets.
The ICP-MS Laboratory Analyst is responsible for conducting environmental testing protocols for the determination of metals and non-metals using an ICP-mass spectrometer. The position will also require the analyst to perform procedures for the detecting of herbicides, semi-volatile organic compounds, pesticides, haloacetic acids, and total petroleum hydrocarbons in the laboratory.
Position requires a MS in Environmental Sciences or Chemistry plus a minimum of one year of work experience in this area.
