Matthew Banks
Matthew T. Banks is the Director of Development for the College of Science. Matt came to Virginia Tech with eight years of development and capital campaign experience. His most recent experience is with Seton Hall University where he serves as Senior Director of Principal and Major Gifts.
Timothy Howland
Timothy Howland is the associate director for corporate relations in the College of Science. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor from Virginia Tech and an MS in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins. Tim was a research and development specialist for the Celera Genomics Corporation and a Research Associate for the Institute for Genomic Research. Before coming to Virginia Tech, Tim was Project Manager for the Scheer Partners’ Biotech Services Group.
Jennifer Orzolek
Jennifer Orzolek is the assistant director of development in the College of Science. Jenny joined our staff with ten years experience in higher education, most recently as a Business Developer with the Corporate Center at the College of Southern Maryland. Jenny earned her B.S. in business and finance degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, and her M.B.A. from Salisbury University.
