College of Science scholarships for current students are awarded competitively based on an application that students submit at the beginning of the spring semester. Students will be notified by e-mail before they leave for Thanksgiving break about the upcoming deadline so that they can prepare their applications during the winter break.
One of the most important parts of the application is the essay. You can help your student's chance of being awarded a scholarship by being willing to read drafts of their essay and offer suggestions.
