Susan Haymore
Susan serves as the main transfer advisor for the College of Science, evaluating transfer credits for current and prospective students and providing advice and guidance to the registrar's office, students, prospective students, parents, faculty, staff, and university administration regarding transfer work and other academic issues. Consults catalogs and relevant syllabi at Virginia Tech and other institutions to examine course content and award credit. Evaluates international transcripts. Processes paperwork for students in order to facilitate enrollment. Initiates and manages procedural changes to improve the functioning of the college office. Supervises and trains student workers. Works jointly with the academic deans to revise the advising handbook. Coordinates and assists in administering advisor workshops. Generates and supervises dissemination of correspondence for academic deans dealing with student academic performance.
