Students in the College of Science interested in applying for any of the Category 1 (non-need based) scholarships listed below must submit the scholarship application by 5:00 p.m. on February 4, 2008.
In order to be considered, scholarship applications must include:
Dean’s Scholarship Rising Sophomore – Students that are upcoming sophomores who have demonstrated strong academic achievement or leadership skills.
Dean’s Scholarship Rising Junior – Students that are upcoming juniors who have demonstrated strong academic achievement or leadership skills.
Dean’s Scholarship Rising Senior – Students that are upcoming juniors who have demonstrated strong academic achievement or leadership skills.
Dean’s Roundtable –Selected by the Dean’s Round Table Committee members from the rising junior and senior scholarship recipients.
The Robert T. Lawson and John R. Lawson –Students that are upcoming seniors who have demonstrated strong academic achievement or leadership skills
Arthur G. Meakin – An outstanding student who is preparing to enter medical school. The award goes to students who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, and service
Robert Bates – Students that are raising juniors who have demonstrated strong academic achievement or leadership skills
